WI: No 536 volcanic winter?

536 is sometimes called the worst year in history, and for good reason. In the midst of a destructive war in Italy, a volcanic eruption brought crop failures, famine, and certainly added to the destruction in Europe. Had the eruption never happened, could it lead to any substantial changes?

Possibly:
Justinian's plague is limited or avoided outright due to people having a stronger immune system.
The Anglo-Saxon migration is slightly less successfull due to not experiencing such a harsh winter back home and the Britons not being so ravaged by plague
