As Dreamers Do Part Deux

July 25
Ballroom 20

It was announced that after a year of deliberation, Spike will indeed become the New Line Network in Fall 2011.
I like the way you think.
July 26

Fox offered attendees a sneak peek at a new Family Guy spin-off called The Cleveland Show.
Okay, that's not too bad.
Also at Hall H
Luxor Television outlined the cartoon rotation for the upcoming Bozo the Clown revival, which launches in the Fall of 2010.
But before that was announced, it was confirmed that the live action segments featuring Tom Kenny as Bozo will be videotaped at Stage 1 of WGN Studios in Chicago, where the original Bozo was produced. Billy Corgan will serve as executive producer, as will Steven Spielberg and Rachel Stone-Abbott.
On the side, Kenny would continue to provide the voice of Spongebob, recording his lines at the facilities of Chicago's UPN affiliate.
Good to know not only that Tom Kenny is playing both Bozo and Spongebob, but also that Steven Spielberg is one of the producers. The talent is stacked.

I...do not know what to make of this.

Walt Disney, Jr. and Britt Allcroft both formally announce that a new Thomas the Tank Engine full-length movie is in the works for a Christmas 2010 release.

It was also announced that Tiffany Disney would become the new full-time narrator for Thomas segments when Shining Time Station returns to PBS in Fall 2010. Because Tiffany is usually busy during the NHL season, traveling with her team to road games across North America, she will be available to record her narration from her office at Mighty Duck headquarters during the offseason.

Also in Room 6A
Disney, Legendary and the WGBH Educational Foundation each confirm that a clean and sober Blanche Boudreaux will return with new episodes of Cartooning Made Easy in Spring 2010.

How is Nexus, Nezumi, Anime Dojo, Jetix, Animax, Bullet Train, Adult Swim AcTN and Toonami(if it's still alive) doing at this point?

Should I make new schedules for them?

Below: The Arrowhead Pond of San Diego, now known as the Sempra Energy Center. When the current venue opened in 1996, Mighty Ducks founder Walt Disney, Jr. decided to convert the old Sports Arena next door into the San Diego Hall of Champions. This summer, Tiffany Disney and WED Imagineering are constructing a new atrium to bridge the two venues together into one cohesive venue.

In 2004, current Mighty Ducks regional announcer Peter McNab was honored, having graduated from Point Loma High School before breaking into the NHL as a player for the Boston Bruins.

Last year, Willie O'Ree, the NHL's first black player was enshrined. After a stint with the Bruins in 1958, O'Ree played in San Diego for an early incarnation of the minor league Gulls. When the NHL first accepted the Mighty Ducks' entry into the league, Walt Disney, Jr. learned O'Ree was still living in San Diego and invited him to model the team's jerseys at the 1992 Expansion Draft. Today, O'Ree appears alongside Tiffany on commercials promoting the NHL's diversity initiatives.

Anime Dojo and Bullet Train are tied for first in the adult anime ratings.
That's good.

I have new lineup ideas.
Nexus, Nezumi and Jetix are the leaders for kids anime.
That's great!

But I thought Jetix was a whole channel.
The biggest loser is Toonami.
Damn. Guess it's time for a SERIOUS revamp.
Ohh... Toonami's failing? That ain't good.
Yeah.............
BTW, what are the headlining shows for each of the anime/action blocks?
Naruto's over and now, Shippuden will probably be the lead show for Nezumi.

Battle Spirits should be brought over for Nexus/Jetix.

What are the top rated programs for each of the kid networks AND their specific blocks? (for example: not just Cartoon Express, but also Bullet Train; not just Nick, but also Nick Jr. and N@N)

  • Also, Eddsworld and Sons of Anarchy side by side.
  • Damn, Space Ghost has been running 15 years and it's STILL on top?
  • I wonder how successful Cartoonito has been.
  • I see Adult Swim has taken MTV's cartoons.
  • SpongeBob on CN will never not be weird.
  • So, does Degrassi still air under the Noggin brand, or does The N still exist ITTL?
  • G4's hits are exactly the same from our reality.
